EKT Interactive has been around since 2010. The company started with the realization that the intersection where oil and gas meets e-learning was going to be an exciting place to be for industry experts who love to teach.

Marty has been a consultant to U.S. and international oil and gas companies since 1986, including 13 years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
He brings 18 years management experience with Schlumberger, Superior Oil-Mobile, Wilson Industries and Exxon.
Marty has worked with numerous national and international oil and gas company managements to help improve business performance across upstream, midstream and downstream operations.
Like many of the team, Marty is active in the Society of Petroleum Engineers and often presents at industry forums.

Doug Stetzer leads EKT Interactive’s efforts online.
Starting with a basic website rebuild about 5 years ago, Doug found an unknown passion for engaging a global audience through the creation of high-quality learning content.
Doug has successfully built EKTInteractive.com into the go-to place for learning about the oil and gas industry, reaching tens of thousands of people a month.
Prior to his work with EKT Interactive, Doug spent over 10 years on energy trading desks in New York and London where he was responsible for building new operations marketing oil and gas derivatives and offering expert analysis of the global energy markets.
Doug holds an BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
