Well, it is here. The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) begins today and runs until Thursday.
The OTC is the biggest oil and gas technology conference of the year, and actually is one of the largest conferences of all. Predictions of attendance forecast about 65,000 visitors this year, down from last years peak of about 85,000 due to low oil prices.
Marty Stetzer, EKT Interactive President, likes to call the OTC ‘The World’s Largest Science Fair’. He will be attending the OTC on Wednesday and Thursday, focusing on sessions related to Offshore Process Safety.
EKT Interactive Sr. Associate and regular contributor James Wendelken will also be attending OTC. He will be focusing on sessions related to accelerating technology acceptance and constructively tying improvements into company decision making.
We will be sure to send on all of our impressions, lessons and opportunities gathered from this years conference.
